My journey started over 18 years ago as a personal trainer. Movement had always been a part of my life and the transition into yoga was a much needed one. The shift into teaching and practicing yoga came at a time when the stress of running my business had wreaked havoc on my body, mind and spirit. Yoga played a starring role in healing my body and helping to manage an auto-immune disorder. It also led me to the beaches of Tulum where I hosted my first yoga retreat in 2010.
This was a life-changing experience that set the wheels of change in motion. Two years and three yoga retreat later, I made the decision to pack up my life in Canada and drive via motor home to Tulum with my cat and dog as co-pilots. My adventures in Tulum have led to the opening Yoga Dicha Studio and the creation of the Aligned Flow & Embodied Teaching teacher training program.

TEACHING STYLE: is based on the Aligned Flow Method and Foundation that I developed. Strong, playful and mindful with attention to alignment and deep connection to the heart. Be prepared to sweat, explore, and laugh.

moments come from my work with Pesos for Paws (my non-profit foundation) and Help Tulum Dogs (local animal welfare org.) and nurturing the pups I foster before they're off to forever homes.

My first taste of yoga was watching VHS tapes in my bedroom because yoga was still somewhat on the fringe back then, and studios were not on every corner.  And I was hooked!  I had never felt anything like it!  In 2005, I took my first TT, and realized that I was not just stepping into some poses, but exploring a whole lifestyle.  In my training, I was introduced to Thai Massage and two months later, I enrolled in massage school.  I graduated massage school in 2007 with over 1200 hours and specializations in Thai Massage, Relational Somatics and Craniosacral therapy.
These last 13 years of practicing, learning and teaching yoga and thai yoga massage has been a wonderful journey, full of beauty and challenges. I’ve traveled to India and Thailand to deepen my practice and learn from my teachers. And attended multiple trainings, workshops and retreats.  I have happily and passionately shared yoga and massage with thousands of people across this big blue planet!

TEACHING STYLE: I strive to be open, and listen and let the wisdom of my body, and of our bodies speak.  I will forever consider myself a student and continue learning and growing and evolving with this sweet gift of breath and movement, of yoga and massage.

Upon registration you will receive your required reading information.
Two weeks prior to your start date, you will receive your paperless manual to begin studying.
We have made the move to paperless manuals to create a softer impact on the environment. Students have the choice to print their own manuals and bring.

PRE-REQUISITES + GRADUATION CERTIFICATE:
This training is open to every body and all levels. A regular practice is beneficial but not necessary. We care more about your passion than what you can do on the mat.
To qualify for a 200hr certification you must commit to the full program with an open heart and mind. You must successfully full-fill all of the required modules / homework assigned and pass your graduation class. (don't worry, we give you the tools to succeed and NO ONE has failed to this date!)

YOGA TEACHER TRAINING PACKING LIST:
*valid passport dated no less than 6 months from expiry date
*laptop, ipad or similar
*pens, pencils, highlighters
*journal
*notebook
*sunglasses, sun hat, flip flops and beach wear for tropical study destinations
*yoga clothes & bathing suits for SUP training immersions
*regular clothes for dinners out, exploring town
*wraps or comfy clothing for cooler nights
*biodegradable sunscreen and insect repellant

TRAVEL TIPS:
*we usually like to travel in comfy runners that we can then use when exploring town
*pack extra under belongings... these we find we never have enough of when we go from yoga to breakfast to yoga to afternoons out, etc...

Sayulita is a casual beach town and comfort is name of the game. Light and airy fabrics are best. Dry wicking yoga clothes are a life saver. And because we will be travelling in January, we recommend warmer clothes for the evening. Sweaters, cozy wrap, long pants, etc., as the temperatures can drop down in the evenings during this time.

*pack extra under garments... these we find we never have enough of when we go from yoga to breakfast to yoga to afternoons out, etc.

Please make sure to take time to read our policies and guidelines for registrations.

1. I understand that this teacher training course will be both physically and mentally challenging, and that I need to respect my body and it’s energy levels.
2. I am also aware that yoga is a physical practice and I take full responsibility for any injuries or accidents that may occur during the program as a result of my doing. I take full responsibility for my own health and well-being during the course and will not hold Yoga Dicha or any of the teaching staff responsible for injuries or other medical problems that might occur
3. I understand that the course deposit of 650 USD is non-refundable and that remaining tuition paid is 100% refundable up until 90 days before course start date, after which time, it becomes non-refundable as well
4. I understand that Yoga Dicha & Aligned Flow Teacher Training follows the curriculum guidelines of the Yoga Alliance; and therefore, requires all participants to show up, participate, and commit 100% to the course. Students who give 100% will almost certainly graduate successfully. Those who do not may jeopardize their certification
5. Balance of your Sayulita immersion program is due 30 days prior to start date.

CANCELLATION POLICY

1. Cancellations on or 45 days prior to your Sayulita yoga teacher training immersion start dates are non-refundable and non-transferable. This cancellation policy is strict and firm. If you need to leave the immersion early there are no refunds or pro-rates.

2.  If you cancel your trip 45 days before start date, 25% of your payment may be used as credit for another immersion at our Tulum, Mexico studio to be taken within one year of your original immersion date or we will gladly transfer your credit to another student of your choice for the date of your cancelled immersion.

3.  Exceptions to our policy cannot be made for any reason. We do not offer credit for a students arriving late or leaving early.

On your registration form there is a deposit payment option to pay by PayPal or via credit card. If you wish to use an alternate payment choice, please see the following options and guidelines.
*All PayPal and credit card payments are subject to a 4.5% fee

Transferwise:
Create an account and then enter the amount to pay, enter the email yoga@yogadicha.com and Richelle Morgan as the name, then payment is completed on this end. Transferwise has a lower fee of about $15 and will keep you updated on the transfer. 

Bank transfer:
If you require bank account information, we will send once we receive your registration form.

Cash balance:
If you wish to pay your balance in cash, please email to request this option. Cash balances may or may not be available for Sayulita immersions due to hotel booking policies. For any cash balances, we accept USD or MXN currencies.
